  3. it’s a very good concept and looks like ar.lijo&reni’s design pattern… feel a novelty in this form .i do congratulate you for avoiding slope roof and “paving” Malabar pattern tiles on it..

  4. safeer
i like ur designs …i would like to congratulate u to avoid slope roofs ….am a diploma holder in architecture , i need my home in same pattern , so i want to know its advantages & disadvantages &.also how can avoid the rain water frm the open terse……..pls rply

  5. Hi safeer,
In our kind of a climatic condition it was important that the rain water flow easily to the ground from the roof that is how the slope roof pattern evolved. But this created an overpowering use of slope roof which became again kind of boring so architects started to think about flat roof which was infact tried in the 1980′s…but failed due to the leakages in the concrete roof.

But now there are good water proofing compounds and concrete quality enhancing chemicals are available in the market and all over a new architectural language has evolved and people started to think different and thats how the new contemporary residences started to get popular but yet to get a mass acceptance.

The advantage is that you can have a uniquness in the design and every project can be made different interms of forms and colour we use. This kind of designs need to be maintained properly to make it look chic.
